Congress President Sonia Gandhi approved the appointment of Supriya Shrinate as spokesperson of AICC. Shrinate, a former journalist, contested 2019 LokSabha elections from Maharajganj parliamentary constituency in UP, her father late Harsh Vardhan was 2-time congress MP from the same constituency.
