HAL Tejas




HAL Tejas is India’s single-engine delta wing, Multirole Light Fighter designed by ADA and HAL
for the Indian Air Force and the Indian navy. It came from the LCA programme, to replace
MIG-21 fighters. In 2003, LCA was officially named Tejas. It is the second supersonic fighter
developed by the HAL HF-24 MARUT. In 2019, IAF planned 324 aircrafts of several variants.
